Brad Keywell (BBA ‘91, JD ’93), Co-founder & Director of Groupon,
Inc., will
tell the story behind the multiple business ventures he has
created and provide insights on taking risks and turning visions
into success.

Afterwards, U-M students are invited to a
'Lunch & Learn' Networking Session to meet with entrepreneurs and investors
for round table discussions on entrepreneurial topics. Box lunches
will be provided in the Executive Residence Dining Room, Lower
Level.

Monday, September 12, 2011 5:00-8:00 p.m.-
Blau Auditorium Kick Off! Using Alexander
Osterwalder's Business Model Canvas, students from across the
University of Michigan will meet and mingle to form teams and see
who can work together to develop the best business model. Three days later the
teams that have submitted the best video pitch and
most refined business model canvas will have the opportunity to
pitch in front of their peers and professional judges with prizes
on the line.
Thursday, Sept. 15 5:30-7:00 p.m.- Blau Auditorium
EVC Business Model Competition The five
teams selected to present will be announced. Each team will give a
three-minute pitch and then a panel of professional judges will
conduct a three-minute question and answer session. The audience
will pick the best overall and the most creative business plan.
Judges will pick the best business plan. Cash prizes will be
awarded.
