Entrepalooza 2008: From Theory to Practice

Featuring keynote speakers: Roger Newton of Esperion Therapeutics and Co-discoverer or LipitorŪ; and Sam Wyly, serial entrepreneur and investor. Signed copies of his new memoir 1,000 Dollars and an Idea: Entrepreneur to Billionaire will be handed out to the first 200 attendees.
The symposium will also host four panel discussions:
- Launching and Growing Your Business
- Financing Your Business
- Legal Considerations for Start-ups
- Growing Emerging Companies in the Tech, Life Sciences, and Energy Market Sectors
A special afternoon 'lunch & learn' networking session will be held for U-M students.
Each year this public symposium brings together members of the business community and leaders in entrepreneurship and venture capital to discuss the latest trends and developments in entrepreneurship and venture capital. Entrepalooza is co-presented by the Ross School of Business Entrepreneur and Venture Club and the School's Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.
